Patenting Lives Workshops 2006

The first in a series of free public workshops is to be held, Monday, 13 November 2006, at 6pm.

The first in the series is "Criminal Enforcement Directive and Patent Law: Let the Punishment Fit the Crime?" An panel of experts will debate the issues, followed by a discussion and drinks.

The meeting is free and open to the public, but places are limited, so please register by email to Johanna Gibson.

The first conference of the Patenting Lives Project was staged in December 2005.

Implementation of Paragraph 6 - implementation of paragraph 11 of the General Council decision of 30 August 2003 on the implementation of paragraph 6 of the Doha Declaration on the TRIPS Agreement and public health - General Council, Geneva

This implementation of paragraph II of the original General Council decision of 2003 amends the TRIPS Agreement, making the 2003 Decision on patents and public health permanent.
